For as long as I remember, I have always loved crafts. They allow me to create things and they have always relaxed me. I have crocheted countless hats, stuffed animals, bags, and so much more. I also love to scrapbook, which is not only a way to be creative, it is a way that I can preserve memories. If you want to view some of the pieces I’ve created, please visit my Instagram!
Music has always been a part of my life. Everyone in my family plays an instrument and sings. My dad plays trombone, usually only in the church orchestra around Christmas, and bass guitar with the church praise team. My mom plays oboe and teaches private lessons, but in college she played cymbals in The Ohio State University Marching Band (my uncle played sousaphone and dotted the “i” in script Ohio!). My brother plays guitar and a little bit of everything else. I started on piano when I was younger and then switched to violin in 4th grade. I played violin all throughout middle school and high school, but in college, I switched to viola. I also play a little ukulele and guitar.

My lifelong dream of having a cat of my own finally came true in November of 2019 when I adopted Bernoulli (Bernie). She is named after one of my favorite statistic distributions. Bernie is your typical cat with all of the cat shenanigans and gives me ample opportunities for pictures.
